This is a CD I made for Ligia Digital in 2011. I always loved Demessieux’s music and it felt natural to record some of my favourites after I was appointed organist in Saint-Esprit in 2005. François-Henri Houbart generously gave me access to the beautiful organ in La Madeleine where Jeanne Demessieux worked from 1962 until her death in 1968 so that I could have her two instruments on the CD. Here you can listen to her Te Deum Op. 11, and if you enjoy it you can order the album from FNAC or your regular music dealer.
